There is no time for depression

Such a terrific coincidence! I've given some money to a friend of mine in London to ship over 2 copies of the same book (Murder in Samarkand). It's marvellously revealing, since i've read some fragments of it in a paper last month. Happy reading!

Dear Dariush,
the book "Murder in Samarkand" is still not published. They say it's been postponed again!

It has been censored so many times by the British athority for so many times.

Well, lets wait to see the final version of it.

Hope to get it soon.

Dear Samarkandi, as far as I know the book was published on June 1. That was the information given by The Sun and many Waterstone's and Foyles' branches in London. However, it seems the government is obstructing its way from reaching our hands and minds. therefore, it's not in the bookshelves yet. No doubt, we'll get it sooner rather than later. Some pieces of it were published in The Sun few weeks ago.

News Flash! Just got information that the book is still far from reaching the shelves. It seems it's been postponed indeed. Doesn't the Western democracy look just as a funny disgusting mockery after this?

I am so frustrated about it, too.
I hope the film will be made soon. You know one of the wellknown british producers, Winterbottom wants to make a film about this book. He is looking for an actor who could play C. Murray.

At the Waterstones, they said the book will be out in 2th of July. Well, lets wait and see.

We have to think of a protest over censorship in UK. What do you think? So that people in our "third world" will know that there is not much of freedom of media and speech over here too!

Shahzade-jan, I think the best way to make it known in our world is finding Craig and having loads of interviews with him for different media. He's the only man able to hit them as they deserve to be hit. I got it in my next week's agenda. Fingers crossed.

That is a great idea, Darius,

I was about to write an article to introduce him for BBC tajiki online readers, so we had a talk with Saymuddin a week ago, but I have no contact numbers of him, yet. If you have got any, please, shear it with me. Craig Murray is an activist, who needs a lot more supporters to stand up for what he thinks is right. Lets let him know that we know he sacrifised his career due to a lot more duties he felt about our people and land. With respect to him and his supporters,

Shahzade-jaan,
Finally I received my copy of the book. I got it today by DHL via Amazon and started reading it straight away. It's really catching and could be read in a couple of sessions. Happy reading!
